An unyielding stream
Carrying in its currents
Unsuspecting men.
16-9-2026
Four flowers float in an inky void
Plucked from a memory frozen in time
Transformed into plastic to leave you overjoyed
But instead they sound an empty chime.
4-9-2026
Surely you know what I will do?
Whether I’ll fight or cry or run askew.
So why do you stay and test me so
Instead of preventing this vicious blow?
Perhaps you do it so I can see
What after these struggles becomes of me.
2-9-2026
An uncertain dawn among forest growth,
Wind blowing on embers starting a flame,
An unspoken bounding immortal oath,
Allowing the birth of a sturdy frame.
Vibrant fabrics streaming through open air,
Gold clad parades strutting through busy streets
With nary a worry nary a care
Boasting about all of their striking feats.
A ceaseless wave of unbounded despair
The consequence of actions forgotten.
Reduced to a state of mere disrepair
A once happy memory is rotten.
As nature returns to abandoned coast,
It hugs the shell of its vacant host.
2-9-2026
Peering into an endless void
Not in grief nor overjoyed
Simply lost in a drowning thought
Alone in a cornered vacant lot.
2-9-2026
Rising from the Earth
Commanding the seas and stones
Pouring out nectar.
2-9-2026
Standing, pondering,
Whether simple or striking
Only you can say.
1-9-2026
Abandoned inside
A psychological hell
Within my own mind.
1-9-2026
Sitting quietly
Peering into a dark void
Reflecting alone.
1-9-2026
A vast blue ocean,
A hard struggle to survive,
An unseen terror.
31-8-2026
Beads of time pouring
Into an endless ocean
Of moments that’ve passed.
30-8-2026
Stars grounded on Earth,
Blue asteroids water them
As they reach back home.
29-8-2026
On a mountain side
Hidden amongst the fresh snow
Sits a white flower.
27-8-2026
The deep solitude
Of ineffable passion
Drives one to madness.
27-8-2026
A candle melting
The wax wall confining it
Fearless of the wind.
26-8-2026
The sound of drumming,
Torrential waves smashing walls,
And fresh cut ravines.
24-8-2026
Her sweet memories
Buzzing near my broken heart,
Like flies on remains.
23-8-2026
Long emerald fields
Give the starving passerbys
A lodge for the day.
23-8-2026
The birds sing their hymns
And buzzing bees chant their tunes,
Sweet ancient love songs.
23-8-2026
Shiny blue waters
Reflecting sapphire sky,
The simplest mirror.
22-8-2026
Trees reach for heaven
But they’re stuck here in limbo
Since roots stretch to hell.
21-8-2026
There was once a simple sailor
Who was lost alone at sea,
And to ensure that he would not waiver,
He thought of his bride to be.
And through vicious days and horrid nights
When the waves forced him to his knee,
The only thing that could stop his fright
Was the thought of his sweet chérie.
At last he finally arrived
And waited by their tree,
But to his surprise he learned she’d died
And jumped into the sea.
Yin and Yang
18-8-2026
Fish swim in the sea
Just as birds fly in blue skies.
Yin must have a yang.
17-8-2026
A cherry blossom
Shaking in the wind, dropping
Sunset colored snow.
13-8-2026
A crying woman
Awakens the same sadness
As trampled flowers.
12-8-2026
Quietly falling
The butterflies are caught
By their gentle wings.
11-8-2026
A breeze gently blowing,
A stream swiftly flowing,
Birds lightly crowing,
Leaves fall as if it’s snowing.
In a forest like a dream,
Where even dull things seem to gleam,
Where angels go to dine,
On nectar flowing down from vines,
Where evil goes to die,
And joy freely flies.
You’ll spend the rest of time,
Eating food and drinking wine,
Happy as a buzzing bee,
Or a fish in the open sea.
